Deciding Pages

"Read it slow. So you can feel each syllable echo through your body." She hands him the torn pages that are so brittle the wind created as she passes them over starts to tear the loose corners.

As he grabs the pieces that resemble pages, he attempts to decipher any meaning.

Is life nothing more than air entering and exiting the lungs? Do we create meaning or is it the soul of the world?

She smiles, she can see his face; he struggles.
She knows what is to come.
Tears followed by relief.

Little Georgy

George’s father came home from work and gave George many amazing toys. George did not know what to do with it all. The importance was lost on him at such a young age. George could feel the power though, every time he touched these amazing gifts his palms would sweat and he found it hard to speak.

The house from that day on echoed with his mother’s voice as she would reprimand him. “Georgy! Put that down! We didn’t give you all of this just so you could go and destroy the world with it!”

I am going through a phase where I have not been myself; my, me who is I and I am self. I am finding myself becoming absorbed with the things that I despise; or once despised, had at one time but now am not sure what I dislike, not yet feeling lost but feel that soon I may feel without a map, something has been stolen from me yet my hands will hold the missing piece - am I a thief? I want the green beneath my covers. I have set down my morning thoughts and scavenged for any glimmering object that may have an ounce of material.

vicissitude

There are millions of people dieing in the world. There are billions more killing them. There are trillions of people that are to walk on this world before the sun burns it's last flame and the place in which we walk now, shall be no more. These trillions may never see their pathway if we keep walking in the direction that we have been.
Death and destruction, this is a path that human kind walks every passing moment of each passing day. This must stop before it is too late. It takes only one individual to stop the madness that is happening in the world. It may be you, it may be your neighbour. However it may not be. This is the part that is up to each and every one of the billions that are living today.
Our government, and the dim governments of the world must realize that the economy and the self wealth that drives the billions of walkers can not be enough to create the thing that demolish those paths of the millions.
